wüstinnen for 5 musicians and 5 singers (2023)
echoes from the past reverberate in the desert. sommer ulrickson and i follow a girl band on their way to a gig. when they get stuck in a desert en route, music from the past appears and catalyses personal crises and development. finally, they meet the five composers that are responsible for their travails only to discover that these five women have paved the way toward the music the band plays today.
